Happy Birthday Janet....

Janet is a lucky Grandmother! For her birthday she is getting a portrait of herself with all of her beautiful grandchildren. And boy are they beautiful! Each of the kids are just gorgeous! I loved the outfits they choose with the jeans, white shirts bare feet, super casual and so cute. I hope every time you look at your portrait, you are reminded of how blessed you are. Happy birthday Janet!!

Kenny....

It is that time of year again, the start of senior sessions! I think seniors are my absolute favorites. Kenny was my first senior of the year, with many more coming up. We took Kenny to St. Johns to do some urban shots then to the park. I tried to make it as quick and painless as I could. lol I am booking up quickly for senior sessions, if you are interested in booking do so as soon as possible!

Beach time....

I love taking pictures on the beach! Unfortunately everyone in Michigan also thought the beach was the place to be Sunday night too! But we found a few quiet spots to get some shots of the kids. They did awesome. I was so impressed with how well they sat, when they really just wanted to be running and playing on the beach. Thanks Holly and Adam for giving me the honor of shooting your beautiful family! Next time I bet there will be one more little one in the shot :)

Addie and Will....

We bumped up the session by a bit, because it was suppose to storm. The light was perfect, so I am glad we did. I will have to keep in mind to shoot before a storm again ;) I couldn't believe how good Addie and Will did for being only 2 and 3 (almost 4)!! They are both just the sweetest things. Thanks for letting me take your beautiful kiddo's pictures Katie and Jon!!

Spring 2010 Cutest Kid Contest!!

Julie Martin Photography is hosting a Cutest Kid Contest! Beginning today May 26th 2010 you will be able to submit a photo of your cutest kid, and the winner will receive a free photo session with Julie Martin Photography, as well as 1 8x10, 2 5x7's, one set of 8 wallets, and 3 digital images to share of your choice. Here are the details:

TO ENTER

* One entry per child
* You must be the parent or legal guardian of the child you enter into the contest
* Child must be 17 years old or younger on the date of entry
* You must have permission/rights to use the photo you enter
* Photo must have been taken in the last 6 months
* Photos will be accepted from 12:01am May 27th, 2010 until 11:59pm Sunday May 30th, 2010 via e-mail- juliemartinphotography@live.com
* Only photos e-mailed to juliemartinphotography@live.com with the Subject line NLP CONTEST during the previosuly mentioned time will be accepted
* Include your child's name and age in the e-mail (first name and age will be posted for viewing), as well as your name and contact information
* Contest open to everyone, however if you live outside of a 30 mile radius from Westphalia, MI you must choose a location within 30 miles of Westphalia, MI for your prize shoot, or a travel fee will be charged of 85 cents per mile, each direction, beyond 30

Brady.... newborn session

I was a little nervous that Brady wouldn't sleep being he was already over two week old. We had to put off his session due to the fact that he had to have surgery just after he was born. But, he seems to be doing wonderfully now! And he sleeps like an angel, which I love :) Thanks for letting me capture your sweet little boys first days!

The Thelen Family.....

I really had a great time taking pictures of Eric, Renee and the kids. The girls were just naturals in front of the camera. And Nolan...well, he is just adorable. He was too busy to pose, instead he kept peeking in the barn to see if there were tractors. :) Thanks for making my job so fun!

Ashley....

Ok, I am a bit behind in my blogging so I have a few to post. This is Ashley, she got all decked out in her first communion cloths again for this photo shoot. I took her sister Emily's pictures last year and was honored to take Ashley's this year. What a beautiful little girl. Congratulations Ashley!

1st Communion....

It is first communion time again, I was lucky enough to photograph the adorable Droste cousins. They all looked so great! Congratulations Taylor, Bailey and Brandon!

Allie and Weston....

This was my favorite shoot yet! I love the urban shots. Allie and Weston were dressed so cute, so that just added to the urban look. They are my great niece and nephew. We had such a great time, Allie did fantastic! Weston did too, thanks to Kenzee buying him a bag of skittles :) If you would like to book a urban/pettiskirt shoot, give me a call! Drostes.....

It is that time a year again, I can finally start shooting pictures outside! Yeah!!
This was my first family session for the year. The Droste's were all getting together to celebrate and thought it was the perfect time for a family portrait. We also squeezed in a 1st communion session for Ellie. What a beautiful little girl. Thanks for choosing Julie Martin Photography to shoot your family session.
