Harp Family....

Jenny has been wanting an updated family picture for quiet a while. She has contacted me several times telling me how much she would love one, but it just hasn't worked out. She has a son Mason that is autistic and as a parent of a special needs child, I totally understand how hard it is to find time to fit anything extra into the day! Well, when Jenny's daughter Jennessa contacted me telling me about how she wanted to surprise her mom for Christmas by getting the kids together for a family portrait for her mom! I loved the idea and was all about it. I know as a mother how much that would mean to me. So we met and took the kids pictures. Jennessa was a little worried about how Mason would do, but he did great! I hope you loved your Christmas present Jenny!!!

Thelen Family Session....

The Thelen Family has grown up at this farm, and this barn has been a huge part of their childhoods. So when we talked about doing a huge family session, the barn was the location they chose. I loved the idea. They will be getting rid of the barn soon, so these pictures will be a treasured reminder of the fun they had in this old barn. While we were taking pictures we had an adorable little baby owl watching us!! Thanks for asking me to take your wonderful families portrait!!

Arens Family....Westphalia

The Arens family was one of my first fall sessions. I love fall! Sharon and Bruce wanted to use the farm as part of the backdrop and I love the idea. What a great keepsake to pass down to your child, as a portrait taken at the farm they grew up on.

Daniel...2012 Pewamo-Westphalia Senior and my son :)

Well, being a photographers child has it's perks and it's down falls. My younger kids would say I annoyingly stick my camera in their face all the time, or make them pose for some "fabulous" session idea I have. Daniel got his senior pictures for free and got to ignore me as I took them and basically just looked up when I told him too. He would have never been allowed to do that with another photographer. And he also got a free meal out on me. Lucky kid! I can't believe Daniel is already talking about heading off to college. :( My little boy is growing up. Love you buddy!

Isaac...

This is Isaac, he is about the cutest little guy you are ever going to meet! I photographed Isaac though Inspiration Through Art, which is an organization in which photographers donate a session for children that are suffering from an illness. Isaac has leaukemia. He is such a strong, brave little boy. I am thrilled that I could give this session to Isaac and his family. I hope you will treasure these photos of your little guy as he battles this disease. Could he be any cuter? I don't think so!!!
