Emily- my first senior session

I was so excited when Emily wanted to be shot in the snow for some of her senior pictures. I have known Emily since she was a baby, I babysat for her when she was little, now she is a foot taller than me! These are a sneak peak....

He is home!!!

I wish I could do this everyday! It is so great to be able to witness a family meet their child for the first time. Jonah is such a lucky boy to have such a nice family. Congratulations Kristine, Brian, Abby and Jacob!

Jonah is coming home tomorrow!!!!

I will be at the airport again tomorrow photographing Jonah as he meets his new family! I can't wait, I will post pictures as soon as I can!

Avery is home!!!!!

Today I had the honor of being at the airport when Avery met her parents. She is just as sweet as can be. Oh and did I mention that she is an absolute beauty!

I am going to go to the Detroit airport on Wednesday and take pictures of a family that will be seeing their child in person for the first time! Terra is adopting a little girl, Avery, from Korea. Terra and her family are from Tennessee She will be flying in on Wednesday and I am lucky enough to take pictures! I will post as soon as I can.

Any volunteers?

I am looking for some sweet faces that would like to be my models. I am in the process of starting a real website and need more pictures to post. I would give volunteers a free setting and 1/2 off prints. I just got some studio background that I would like to try out or if it ever gets nice out we can try some outdoor shots.

I had so much fun today. I took pictures of this sweet girl! Isn't she adorable? This is Megan and she is a complete sweetheart!

For those that haven't met her...this is Aspen. It was Dan's Christmas gift. Yes, she is a St. Bernard. She looks tiny in this picture but it was over a month ago. She has at least tripled in size!

Kennedy is always happy to pose for me! One day she will roll her eyes when I pull out the camera like the other kids do.

I took the kids down to the riverwalk in Portland to get some shots for a class I am taking. Here is one of Quincey. Isn't she cute?
