Do they get any cuter? Michaela, Hunter and Bryce did so great. Although Michaela lasted a little longer than the boys. :) We got some great shots!

The Bengel Family....

On Sunday I had the pleasure of taking pictures for the Bengel Family. We wanted to squeeze this session in so that we can have a family picture for the benefit. (see the post below) And they were so great about going outside in the 20 degree weather!
Although Trent did complain about it to Jackson in school the next day. lol I told Jackson to tell him "it's all about getting the shot". But Jackson just rolled his eyes at me. They are such a great family. I hope you can all make it to the benefit to show your support!

Trent...

Many of you may know that our community has been working on a fundraising benefit for a 5th grader in our area named Trent Bengel, son of Randy and Terri (Boos) Bengel, who has been diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumor. This little guy and his family are in need of our support and our prayers. To help support his family financially through Trent’s many months of intense chemotherapy, our community is sponsoring a breakfast benefit on February 21st from 8 am to 1 pm at the St. Mary’s Hall in Westphalia. Please mark your calendars, and bring your family out to enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast. There will be a HUGE silent auction with many wonderful items to bid on, and several different raffles with a chance to win a picnic table, a wooden swing and a handmade quilt. In addition, the Catholic Order of Foresters will match the funds taken in for this event!

The committee will soon be sending out a list of all of the great items available for the silent auction. Please make plans to attend, and bid on some of your favorite auction items!

In memory of Andrew Wayne Smith....

Today heaven gained an angel. My prayers are going out today to the Smith family. Back when I first started my business I joined an organization called Little Heros. This is a group where photographers donate their time to do a session of needy child. Andrew was known to many as "Super Andrew" Andrew was a joy to photograph. It was an honor knowing you Andrew. May you rest in peace.

3 month old Audrey....

Audrey was such a little doll! She knew just what to do. She gave us lots of sweet smiles to start out, then fell asleep like an angel. What a little sweetheart! Thanks for letting me photograph your blessing!

Kendalyn....

Time for another sweet newborn! This one, I am proud to say, is my niece. Ok, I guess she would be my "great" niece. Yikes, that makes me sound old! She was such an angel! Thanks Kristin and Chris for letting me photograph your little one.

Brooke.... Newborn Session

I have heard newborn sessions can be a huge struggle but I really lucked out. Brooke slept the entire time and was just an angel! I have been in business about 2 years now and she was my first newborn. I am sure all of them won't go as smoothly but I was thrilled this one did. I have another newborn session very soon, my niece just had a little girl too! So watch for more sweet baby pictures in a few days. Congratulations Brian and Erin, Brooke sure is a sweetie!

Shawn... *Senior Photography*

Shawn has lived with us since March. When you live in my home I take your pictures, you have no choice. lol If you know Shawn you know that most of the time, he has a skateboard with him, so of course we had to take lots with his skateboard. Hope you like them Shawn!

Becky and Jordan.... Engagement Sessions

Becky is a interior designer and wanted to incorporate furniture into the pictures, which I love! I was so excited after I did this session that I took my kids to the same location, with the same wicker sofa (actually my copied version of Becky's) and took our Christmas card photo. Becky and Jordan are such a sweet couple. I can't wait to take the wedding pictures!

Weber Family Session- {fall family photos, Michigan}

We were so happy that we caught the beautiful fall color before the leaves were gone. The Weber family is such a great family. Beautiful, nice and the best part is they get along and have such a great time together! I had a wonderful time. We used every last bit of daylight to get these pictures and I think they turned out wonderful!
