Like I said, I am so far behind in my blogging. I swear I am going to get caught up before spring sessions start again! Natalie is a beautiful senior from Pewamo-Westphalia. Trevor, Pewamo-Westphalia Senior 2012

This is my nephew Trevor. He was born one day before my son Daniel, so they are pretty much best friends. Daniel and Trevor's girlfriend Jen went along for the session. We found some great spots to shoot at. Thanks Trevor for asking me to take your senior pictures, aren't you glad you have such a cool Aunt?

John, Pewamo-Westphalia Senior 2012. Golf, basketball

The 2012 seniors are all kids that I have seen grow up since my son Daniel is in the class of 2012.  Hard to believe they are old enough to be graduating already!  Seems like just yesterday they were in kindergarten!  John was one of those kids, seems like he was just starting kindergarten with Daniel and now he towers over me.  We had a great time taking Johns pictures.  We decided to go to an old abandon mint mill (I guess that is what it is called) just down the road from Johns Grandparents.  He told me about how he and his cousins always played there when they were kids, and also about how he had just learned that his grandpa used to work there.  I thought it was pretty cool that he choose to go there for his senior pictures. 

Kate and Anthony...wedding...

I had a great time at Kate and Anthony's wedding. Kate and Anthony are both very easy going and had a super fun wedding party! I have been hesitating about doing weddings, trying to decide if it something I want to do or not. After shooting the last few weddings with my friend Rhonda as my second shooter, I have decided that I will start doing them more! We really work great together. I will still be limiting my weddings to between 4-6 a year at most. This will give me time to work with the brides and grooms and get pictures finished in a reasonable amount of time. Kate and Anthony had a beautiful day for a wedding! We snuck out of reception to get some amazing shots on the golf course! I hope you loved them as much as I do!! Thanks for asking me to photograph your special day!!

Katie...Dewitt High School 2012 Senior...[Grand Haven, Beach shoot]

Katie choose to do a beach and urban session in Grand Haven back in August. I love these shoots because they give you a little bit of everything and I get to make a quick trip to the beach!! While we were shooting, a woman approached us telling us that the house/giftshop we were shooting in front of was haunted, and that there was a "group" in there earlier in the day. By "group" I believe she meant a "group of ghosts". She then told us we should come back when they were open so we could go inside. Yeah, I think I will pass! lol I checked the pictures that night and no one else in the pictures. That was a relief. We had a beautiful evening to shoot, the weather was perfect! We got some great shots. Thanks Katie and Deb for asking me to shoot your senior pictures!!

I such a great time at this shoot! I am not sure who had more fun.... Cassie, her mom Sandy or me! Actually I think it was Sandy! lol
